An Elvis Presley Tribute Show
Kurt is the winner of the European Elvis Competition at the Porthcawl Elvis Festival - gaining the title of EUROPEAN CHAMPION.
Kurt was raised in Essex in the UK. As a child his life was filled with music. Kurt grew up with Elvis as his main musical influence, due to his fatherâs extensive âback catalogueâ of hits! His love for music came so naturally as did his desire to perform and sing on stage â which he started to do at the tender age of 3. Early photographs of Kurt singing into the handle of the vacuum cleaner, and a little later on stage, were good indicators of his then, unknown future.
Kurt has been a professional singer in his own right for around 12 years and has toured extensively in the UK. But in 2004, when virtually everyone he knew kept telling him he should put an Elvis Tribute Show together, he constructed his own show, doing things his own personal way. Unlike so many others, ALL the eraâs are covered - from the early 50âs rockabilly years, through to the âMovie Years,â the 1968 Comeback Special and then onto the great âVegasâ 70âs period. This show now features the amazing talents of Kurtâs very own band - the âIn Memory of the King Tribute Bandâ and his backing singers the âDivine Inspirationsâ.
